The South Asian Business Council of Virginia (SABCVA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting and empowering South Asian entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Founded by visionary business and civic leaders, SABCVA was created to serve as a bridge between South Asian business communities and the broader Virginia economy. We believe that economic empowerment, education, and advocacy are essential tools for building stronger, more inclusive communities.

From small business owners in Richmond to tech innovators in Northern Virginia, SABCVA celebrates the diversity, resilience, and contributions of South Asians who are shaping Virginia’s future. Through collaboration, mentorship, and leadership development, we are committed to creating a platform where South Asian voices are heard, respected, and represented.

Our foundation rests on three pillars:

Unity among the South Asian diaspora across regions and industries.

Empowerment through knowledge-sharing, networking, and advocacy.

Service to our communities and the Commonwealth at large.
